The property was bought in 2005 by the present owner, who has improved the property, adding rooms, balcony, terrace, new roofs, plumbing wiring, windows and doors. All windows and internal and external doors are new; the internal doors are solid wood, with brass fittings. All internal walls are painted cream; exterior walls are painted a darker creamy yellow.
The local small town of Albaida has banks and a post office which you can park right outside from! three national supermarkets, numerous cafes restaurants and small shops. There is a sports facility, local junior school, and a large new senior school. Albaida boasts a large church set in a beautiful plaza, with posh restaurants, a tourist information office and a bowling alley. The village of El Palomar has a swimming pool which is within walking distance, plus a fantastic restaurant 'Clareta Ravalet'.
There are two entrances to the property; the second one is the driveway, entered by double iron gates, the drive sweeps past the orchard, old chicken house and some trees, swimming pool, and up to the front of the house.
The front of the property is mainly gravelled, with paved areas, and some shrubs. The whole area is circled by graceful balustrades, with a rustic stone circular table and chairs near to the swimming pool. This is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of local wine whilst watching the sun sink over the mountains.
